Test of Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) 8/14/25 2 pm

Multnomah County plans to test the Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) system next week on Thursday, August 14, at 2 p.m. Because WEA alerts use cell towers to relay messages to any connected devices, there will be some spillover of the alert to cell phone users in Washington County, especially along the County’s border with Multnomah County.
